The Salmagundi Club unveils its Annual Thumb-Box Exhibition and Sale on Monday, November 24th. This exhibition of "small" works from American artists has been enticing collectors for years.  It is one of the best kept shopping secrets of New York City. The show runs from November 24th through January 2, 2015. Held at the Salmagundi Club, 47 Fifth Avenue, New York.  So deck your walls with some fabulous art.

I have three paintings in this exhibition:  All brand NEW oils!

A new addition to my "Streets of San Francisco Series" and

two of my little fun Rainy Day pieces from my Rainy Day Collection.

It is always such a thrill to be showing at this prestigious club.

After posting "The Violinist #4"  on my Facebook page I received this wonderful comment!

"The key distinguishing factor between artists style is originality and any one of September McGee's works is a no-brainer.  She's got her signature style down to an art form."                                                                       Harushi Tetsuka

                                                                                               ... and this!...

"If Rock music is neon colored pop art and jazz is boldly colored expressionism, then classical is more like realism or impressionism. The mixing of these two painting styles is what makes September McGee’s work so widely acclaimed and collected. It is also what makes her Music Collection such an appropriate centerpiece in her body of work. McGee’s paintings combine assertive color choices with charming line drawing to capture the refined energy of the classical musicians depicted. "                                                                                                                  The Painted Note Gallery
